About the Role

We are hiring Graduate Apprentice Trainees (GAT) for our Operations & Logistics function at our Oragadam plant. This is a 1-year apprenticeship program offering hands-on exposure to equipment installation, commissioning, safety compliance, vendor coordination, and documentation activities under the guidance of experienced engineers and technicians.

Eligibility Criteria

- Fresh B.E. / B.Tech graduates 2025 pass out only
- Provisional Certificate mandatory
- Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship / GAT in any other company are NOT eligible
- Age: 21 25 Years preferred.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning Support

- Assist engineers and technicians during equipment installation, piping layout, and field activities
- Observe and learn alignment, basic instrumentation checks, and mechanical assembly methods
- Help prepare tools, materials, and work areas before installation begins
- Support routine tasks during testing pressure tests, leak checks, and basic measurements

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure PPE usage and follow safety guidelines during all field activities
- Assist in setting up barricading, signage, and safe access paths
- Participate in toolbox talks to understand site hazards and safety procedures
- Report any unsafe condition to technician or engineer immediately

Vendor & Team Coordination





- Assist technician in guiding contractor manpower for simple tasks
- Support vendor teams in arranging work platforms, tools, and consumables
- Communicate basic updates to technician or engineer as required

Documentation & Reporting

- Help record daily material movement pipes, fittings, tools
- Maintain simple checklists under supervision material checklists, work progress sheets
- Record field observations, measurements, and simple inspection notes
- Assist in updating as-built drawings by marking field changes
- Maintain learning logs, training attendance, and skill development records

What We Are Looking For

- B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Industrial Engineering
- 2025 Pass Out Fresh Graduate only
- Willingness to work on shop floor and field activities
- Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly and safety practices
- Good observation, documentation, and communication skills
- Proactive, disciplined, and eager to learn

Significant Note for Candidates

- This is a 1-year contract apprenticeship program
- Stipend: 18,000 per month fixed
- Candidates must have provisional certificate ready at time of joining
- Candidates who have previously done apprenticeship or GAT in any company are NOT eligible to apply
