Position: Biomedical Engineer

Experience: 1-3 Years

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering (Mandatory)

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Biomedical Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot medical equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of biomedical devices, preventive maintenance, and equipment calibration while ensuring compliance with healthcare quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, inspect, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of medical devices.
- Diagnose equipment faults and coordinate repairs with vendors when required.
- Maintain records of equipment servicing, calibration, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure all biomedical equipment complies with safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct routine performance testing and calibration of medical equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to clinical and hospital staff on equipment usage.




- Coordinate with vendors for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC).
- Monitor equipment inventory and recommend replacement or procurement when necessary.
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Assist during equipment installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.

Required Skills:

- Good knowledge of biomedical equipment and healthcare technology.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance and calibration procedures.
- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with hospital safety and quality standards.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and maintenance record management.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Exposure to ICU, OT, laboratory, radiology, or diagnostic equipment is preferred.
