Role & responsibilities

- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders as a trusted partner to understand requirements, align the team, and communicate tradeoffs and status.
- Create user stories and work with a team of data scientists, engineers, and software developers to develop new features and prioritize the backlog in an agile environment.
- Create a roadmap for the future, based on an intimate knowledge of the customers business and the applicable technology.
- Prioritize work and balance the requirements to bridge the gap between business units and developers.
- SCRUM responsibilities
- Manage the prioritized user-stories and tasks in Rally
- Work with the team to scope user-stories
- Assign tasks to the best resources and make sure the team is 100% allocated
- Hold daily standups and sprint-planning and demo meetings (beginning and end of sprints)
- Communicate any delays/risks with Pod Lead and Senior Project Manager daily
- Communicate weekly team-progress reports (what the team is working on along with delivery dates)
- Help, encourage, facilitate data-scientists entering hours in Rally
- Create sprint reports using Rally that show efficiency of team

Preferred candidate profile

- BS in Computer Science or related field. MS a plus
- 10-15 years experience in Project Management
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills




- Stakeholder management and strategy consulting along with the ability to execute.
- Solid analytical skills and the ability to connect a technical solution to a business problem.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to align the team along common goals and drive successful implementation.
- Ability to effectively adapt under changing task priorities in a quick-paced environment.
- Organization, time management skills, and attention to detail.
- Make difficult tradeoffs and remove roadblocks
- Working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques, and frameworks
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work with ambiguity and focus team

Technical Background

- Experience working with a diverse team to develop new features, lead user stories, and prioritize the backlog.
- Background in data science, software engineering, or business intelligence
- Ability to understand the technical nuances of a solution to ensure that it will meet the business requirements.
- Communication skills.
- Experience working with a variety of stakeholders. Stakeholders can range from front-line team members up to the C-Suite, and they include a variety of technical and non-technical roles.
- Cotmmunication skills are essential to ensure that the client, Blend360 team, and any other stakeholders are aligned.
- Ability to create a 34-month development roadmap to guide product developmen
