We are seeking a seasoned SQL Server Database Architect with deep expertise in the Auto Lending domain. You will be the primary guardian of a complex, high-transaction RDBMS environment where the database is the engine of our business logic.

This isnt a "maintenance" role; you will be tasked with reverse-engineering intricate stored procedures, managing massive active job schedules, and ensuring seamless data orchestration between our core lending systems ( SHAW, Spectrum ) and CRM platforms ( Salesforce ).

Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing complex data architectures that support the organization s strategic objectives and business operations. This role involves significant strategic oversight, advanced technical expertise, and collaboration with senior stakeholders to drive data architecture initiatives and support enterprise-wide data management.

The Data Architect III will be responsible for maintaining an enterprise level metadata repository, including information about physical/logical ERDs using ERwin, data structures, data types, business definitions, ownership/stewardship, data quality parameters and data lineage throughout the enterprise data warehouse.

Required Qualifications

- Experience: 10+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Architecture, specifically within Auto Lending or Fintech .
- Domain Knowledge: Functional understanding of the lending lifecycle (Origination, Servicing, Collections, and Securitization).
- Platform Expertise:
- Expert-level T-SQL and SQL Server Agent management.
- Hands-on experience integrating with SHAW or Spectrum (highly preferred).




- Proven track record of managing Salesforce data integrations (Bulk API, ETL tools).

- Analytical Rigor: Ability to read thousands of lines of legacy T-SQL and map out complex data flows without existing documentation.

- Design and implement complex data architectures, including relational, NoSQL, and cloud-based systems, to meet strategic business needs. Develop and refine data models, schemas, and data integration frameworks to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
- Lead the development of long-term data architecture strategies and roadmaps. Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure that data architecture initiatives align with organizational goals and technological advancements.
- Oversee the design and implementation of advanced data integration solutions, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipelines. Optimize data workflows and integration processes to ensure effective and reliable data flow across systems.
- Manage and optimize complex database systems, including relational and NoSQL databases,



and cloud-based data solutions. Implement performance tuning, indexing strategies, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure high availability and efficiency.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to junior data architects and technical teams. Review and guide technical designs, ensuring adherence to best practices and organizational standards. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Implement and enforce data quality standards and governance practices. Ensure that data architecture supports data governance initiatives and complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Collaborate with senior IT leaders, data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that data architecture supports application development, business analytics, and operational needs. Facilitate effective communication and coordination across teams.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of data architecture designs, processes, and standards. Provide regular updates and strategic insights on data architecture projects, performance, and improvements to senior management.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in data architecture. Lead initiatives to incorporate innovative technologies and methodologies into the organization s data architecture framework.
