Role & responsibilities:

Programme Management & Milestone Tracking

- Drive day-to-day management of the Cooperative's workplan, ensuring activities stay on track against agreed timelines and milestones.
- Maintain a consolidated tracker of deliverables, risks, and dependencies across all workstreams and share regular status updates with the Secretariat Lead.
- Flag delays or bottlenecks early and work with relevant partners to identify and implement course corrections.

Cross-Partner & Cross-District Coordination

- Coordinate across state government, NHM, ALVL Foundation, Gates Foundation, and implementation partners to ensure aligned execution on the ground.
- Track cross-cutting priorities across project locations, ensuring consistency of approach while accommodating state/district-specific needs.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for implementation partners, troubleshooting implementation issues as they arise.

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare periodic progress updates, dashboards, and briefing notes for internal review and for the Secretariat Lead's use in steering committee and partner meetings.
- Maintain organised documentation of workplans, meeting minutes, and decisions related to programme execution.




- Support with programme-side inputs for donor and government reporting as needed.

Preferred candidate profile:

Education & Experience

- Postgraduate degree in public health, management, or a related field.
- 68 years of relevant experience in programme management, preferably within public health, government-facing initiatives.
- Prior experience coordinating multi-stakeholder programmes involving government, CSR and philanthropic partners.
- Familiarity with India's public health architecture (NHM, National Programmes, Ayushman Bharat, HWCs/AAMs).

Skills & Attributes

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort preparing materials for senior government and funder audiences.
- Comfortable working with data and trackers (Excel/Google Sheets) to monitor progress and flag issues.
- Willingness to travel periodically to project locations.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented working style suited to a small, fast-moving Secretariat team.
