Regulatory & Compliance Expertise

- Provide in-depth expertise on excise duties and alcohol regulations across Indian states.
- Interpret and translate complex regulatory, legal, and licensing frameworks into operationally executable logistics processes.
- Support licensing procedures, renewals, audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring.
- Act as a key interface with regulatory authorities, industry bodies, and ecosystem stakeholders.

Operational & Ecosystem Understanding

- Bring strong knowledge of operational constraints, field practices, and administrative ecosystems within the Indian spirits industry.
- Advise on warehouse setup, storage compliance, transportation flows, and distribution models specific to alcoholic beverages.
- Support FM Logistic in efficiently navigating complex regulatory interactions and approval mechanisms.
- Contribute to the definition of robust governance, documentation, and control processes.

Profile & Experience Required

Professional Background

The ideal candidate brings a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within a spirits / alcoholic beverages manufacturing company or a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider, in roles covering excise management,



regulatory compliance, and spirits operations.

He/she demonstrates strong hands-on exposure to excise duties, regulatory approvals, licensing procedures, and operational compliance, combined with solid experience operating across multiple Indian states.

Technical Skills

- Deep understanding of excise duties and alcohol regulations
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Solid experience in licensing procedures and statutory reporting
- Strong operational knowledge of warehousing, transportation, and distribution for spirits
- Ability to design and implement compliance-driven operational models
