Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Proposal Engineer to join our team. The role will focus on coordinating with vendors to obtain quotations, analyzing offers, and preparing competitive proposals for bidding. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge in Mechanical bought outs & Packages, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines

- Vendor Coordination: Request, follow up, and collect quotations/offers from vendors
- Offer Evaluation: Review and analyse vendor proposals for technical compliance, commercial terms, and alignment with project requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain records of vendor communications, quotations, and comparison sheets
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Vendors,



Proposal & Engineering teams to ensure all technical and commercial aspects are addressed.
- Deadline Management: Ensure timely receipt of vendor offers to meet bidding schedules.
- Market Awareness: Stay updated on vendor capabilities, pricing trends, and industry standards.

Preferred candidate profile

- Educational Qualification: BE Mechanical
- Relevant Experience (Yrs) :6-10 Years
- Strong understanding of technical specifications
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in water industry mandatory
