We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented F&B; Controller and Store Keeper to manage all store operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing goods and supplies. You will ensure that inventory levels are accurately tracked, the store is clean and safe, and stock shortages are reported in a timely manner. The successful candidate will ensure inventory and cost control in line with the budget.

- Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory control and Management

- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials using appropriate tools.
- Conduct regular physical inventory audits and cycle counts to reconcile stock levels.
- Monitor stock thresholds and initiate purchase requisitions to prevent stockouts.

2. Receiving and Inspection

- Receive deliveries, unload goods, and verify items against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage, discrepancies, or missing items, and report issues to management immediately.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and categorization of all received goods.

3. Storage and Dispatch

- Organize and store inventory in designated areas using a logical and space-effective system (e.g., FIFO/LIFO methods).
- Fulfill internal and external material requests accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and package items for dispatch, ensuring all required documentation (e.g., gate passes,



delivery notes) is complete.
- Store Maintenance and Safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storeroom environment.
- Ensure all storage protocols comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Safeguard the store against theft, damage, and unauthorized access.

Food Cost Control

- Monitor food consumption and food cost trends.
- Analyze kitchen issues versus actual consumption.
- Identify and reduce wastage, spoilage, pilferage, and overstocking.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize inventory and purchasing costs.
- Prepare monthly food cost and consumption reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education & Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelors degree or diploma in Commerce, Hospitality, or Business Administration is a plus.
- 2-5 years of proven experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Clerk, or similar role.

Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and standard storekeeping procedures.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office, particularly Excel) and experience with inventory management software.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Keen attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
