1. Coordinate with Tech Transfer leads and engineers that all standardised calculations are done and available and used for making the PID, Equipment selection report and the BPR within the time as per Sai Go procedures.

2. Create and validate standard calculation templates for all common engineering calculations for BPR and equipment. Validate them and continuously improve them to ensure refined and advanced calculation templates are available.

3. Coordinate with process engineers and provide conclusions to close investigations by troubleshooting using engineering techniques and calculations.

4. Ensure that there is traceability and easy availability of all calculations done for any projects / process and these are tamper proof and available for immediate reference.

5. Ensure that engineering database is complete and updated with all relevant information required for accurate and quick equipment mapping and selection.

6. Perform simulation studies using DynoChem,



Aspen Engineering suite and MixIT wherever necessary for products that is to be scaled-up to the plant.

7. Increase the usage of Dynochem and Aspen and have standard and non-standard calculation templates for maximum unit operations and use the models to adapt to special requirements and special compounds.

8. Participate and observe lab and pilot experiments to decide on design techniques and tools to be used and validate equipment selection.

9. Work with vendors for lab and pilot equipment customisation to ensure we have and use the right equipment for characterisation and simulation experiments (e.g., Filtration and drying).

10. Scout and recommend current software / software capabilities for implementation in tech transfer and troubleshooting support. (e.g., Advanced mixing software) and provide technical support for Process intensification using simulation and calculation tools
