Role : Tendering & Estimation Engineer

Job Description:

- Handle end-to-end tendering activities including tender document review, quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, costing, and rate analysis.
- Prepare accurate estimates covering material, manpower, equipment, logistics, OHS, and project overhead costs.
- Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors for quotations, rate comparison, and negotiations.
- Prepare tender synopsis, scope matrix, technical & commercial submissions, and ensure timely bid submission.
- Conduct feasibility, risk assessment, technical/commercial evaluation, and tender analysis.
- Coordinate with planning, P&M;, logistics, finance, and project teams for tender inputs.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits; prepare construction methodology, manpower, equipment, and logistics plans.
- Handle bid clarifications, negotiations, LOI/LOA review, ZCR preparation,



and post-award handover.
- Support management in tender strategy, costing approval, and loss tender analysis.

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in tendering, estimation, costing, or quantity surveying.
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in construction and infrastructure projects, preferably marine/port/harbour projects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, rate analysis, cost estimation, and tender documentation.
- Valuable coordination and negotiation skills with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
