Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a coal testing laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sampling-related laboratory activities and testing of coal samples at the client plant laboratory.
- Perform analysis of coal, ash, moisture, sulphur, phosphorus, GCV and other relevant parameters.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as:
- Ensure testing is carried out as per applicable standards and approved procedures.
- Maintain test records, laboratory registers and quality documentation.
- Prepare and maintain NABL-related documents and records.
- Ensure timely calibration,
verification and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Support internal/external audits, proficiency testing and corrective actions.
- Maintain laboratory quality systems and ensure compliance with required standards.
- Report laboratory results and operational issues to the Site In-Charge.
- Perform other laboratory-related activities assigned by the Site In-Charge.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of coal, ash and moisture analysis.
- Hands-on experience with coal testing laboratory instruments.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality systems and NABL requirements.
- Positive documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to accuracy and testing procedures.
- Ability to work independently at a client-site laboratory.
