Job Title: SailPoint IDAM Integration & Administrator

Job Summary:

The SailPoint IDAM Integration & Administrator will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining SailPoint IdentityIQ (or IdentityNow) solutions within the organization. This role focuses on integrating SailPoint with enterprise applications, automating identity lifecycle processes, and ensuring secure, compliant access management across systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SailPoint implementation, strong understanding of identity governance frameworks, and the ability to administer and enhance SailPoint environments.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Implementation & Integration
• Design, configure, and deploy SailPoint IdentityIQ/IdentityNow components and connectors.
• Integrate SailPoint with various systems (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD, SAP, ServiceNow, HRMS, and cloud/SaaS applications).
• Develop and manage workflows, provisioning policies, and identity lifecycle processes.
• Support role-based access control (RBAC) design and implementation.

2. Administration & Maintenance
• Perform day-to-day administration of the SailPoint platform, including upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
• Monitor system health, logs, and job schedules; troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Manage onboarding of recent applications into SailPoint and maintain connectivity with existing integrations.
• Ensure compliance with identity governance policies and audit requirements.

3. Development & Customization
• Overall understanding on developing custom connectors, rules, and workflows using Java, Beanshell, and SailPoint APIs.
• Configure identity cubes, certifications, policies, and access request workflows.




• Support automation scripts and REST/SOAP API integrations for identity processes.

4. Security & Governance
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce least privilege and segregation of duties (SoD) controls.
• Conduct periodic access reviews, certification campaigns, and entitlement clean-ups.
• Document configurations, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.

5. Collaboration & Support
• Partner with HR, IT, and business application teams to ensure accurate identity data and role definitions.
• Provide technical support and training to internal IAM and helpdesk teams.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary system evidence or logs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• 2+ years hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow.
• Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, access certification, and provisioning.
• Experience integrating SailPoint with directories (Active Directory, LDAP), HR systems, databases, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Proficiency in Java, Beanshell, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL.
• Familiarity with security standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:
• SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer or Administrator certification.
• Experience with other IAM tools (Okta, CyberArk, Ping Identity, ForgeRock).
• Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow integration.
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for IAM deployments.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Uptime and performance of SailPoint platform.
• Successful completion of access certifications and audits.
• Reduction in identity-related incidents and orphaned accounts.
• Timely onboarding of applications into the SailPoint ecosystem.
