Role: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Were seeking a Technical Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Developer to design, build, and maintain the technical foundation of our marketing automation ecosystem. This role will own the development, maintenance, and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and its integrations, ensuring the platform supports personalized, data-driven, and scalable customer experiences.

You will collaborate closely with marketing, data, and integration teams to deliver robust automation, real-time engagement triggers, and custom solutions that enhance customer journeys and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and enhance Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Design and implement advanced automations using SQL, SSJS, and Automation Studio.
- Build and manage integrations between SFMC and other platforms via API, ensuring seamless data flow across systems.
- Develop and optimize personalization logic using AMPScript, agile content, and audience segmentation.
- Enable and manage real-time triggers to power responsive, event-based customer communications.
- Maintain and evolve custom solutions (e.g., custom preference centers, data extensions, or microservices integrations).




- Provide technical support to marketing and CRM teams, troubleshooting platform issues and optimizing system performance.
- Document architecture, data flows, and best practices to ensure scalability and continuity.
- Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases and MarTech innovations to recommend technical improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder).
- Strong proficiency in AMPScript, SQL, and API integrations (REST and SOAP).
- Experience building and managing real-time event triggers and custom automations.
- Solid understanding of data models, segmentation logic, and relational data design within SFMC.
- Familiarity with SSJS, Cloud Pages, and server-side scripting a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Data Cloud integration preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
