Job Description

Job Purpose:
Duty Managers typically handle the customer service and support service also some management concerns of an organization. These managers are responsible for smooth functioning of all the departments and ensure policies and protocols are being followed in the prescribed manner. Also, in addition to this they have to ensure safety procedures of the premise.

Essential duties and responsibilities

- Taking report from previous manager on duty.
- To meet and greet every patient with smile.
- To take daily rounds of the hospital; this round should be in detail covering every area of the hospital.
- To collect all data in prescribed format and submit the report to reporting authority.
- To take hospital rounds and collect report of all staff deployed in each unit.
- To improve the efficiency of care and ensure quality of patient care deliverables.
- Meet and greet VIP Guests and major corporate clients upon arrival.
- To ensure optimum head count of staff in every department.
- To identify and plan training sessions of all staff.
- To have close liaison with all the consultants.
- To represent the organization in front of any governing bodies authority.
- To ensure the facilitys compliance with laws and regulations.
- To oversee finances such as patient fees and billing.
- Work with management to assess and improve processes and policies
- Check in with employees regularly to determine satisfaction.




- Maintain open lines of communication between all departments.
- To perform audits in any department and report the findings to the reporting authority.
- To check various departmental registers and records and ensuring adherence of the same.
- To coordinate with departmental representatives in case of any discrepancies and follow up until the issue is sorted out

- To develop relations characterized by sympathetic understanding and emotional affinity with patients and their relatives.

Other requirements

- Previous experience in the industry preferred
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of cash management and book keeping procedures
- Team management skills
- Solid organizational skills
- Experience with facilities maintenance and/or security
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Availability to work in shifts including weekends
