Role & responsibilities

- Lead competitive benchmarking studies for suspension bushings, links, mounts, rubber-to-metal, and chassis components.
- Plan and execute product teardown activities, dimensional measurements, and comparative engineering analyses.
- Analyze competitor designs, materials, manufacturing processes, cost structures, and performance characteristics.
- Conduct patent reviews and intellectual property assessments to identify emerging technologies and competitive innovations.
- Develop comprehensive benchmarking reports, technical presentations, and actionable engineering recommendations.
- Perform competitive gap assessments and support product enhancement initiatives.
- Maintain benchmarking databases, comparison matrices, measurement records, and engineering documentation.
- Evaluate suspension systems, bushings, mounts,



and other NVH-related components for performance and design optimization.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; requirements, material specifications, and manufacturing standards.
- Identify industry trends, current materials, innovative manufacturing methods, and emerging technologies.
- Present benchmarking findings and recommendations during technical design reviews and management meetings.
- Assess IP risks, competitive threats, and technical concerns while supporting product development teams.
- Collaborate closely with Design, Simulation, Manufacturing, Testing, Purchasing, and Program Management teams.
