Senior Project Manager / State Head DDU-GKY
Organisation: Cyber Sigma – Sigma Academy | Type: Full time | Location: Project location with extensive field travel | Reports to: Director / Programme Head

Role Purpose
We're seeking an experienced DDU-GKY professional to manage the complete project lifecycle — mobilisation, training-centre operations, assessment, placement, financial compliance, inspections, and post-placement tracking — while achieving physical, financial, training, certification, and placement targets per the sanction order, MoU, DDU-GKY SOP, and SRLM/MoRD requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare state-to-batch-level implementation plans and translate sanctioned targets into monthly deliverables
- Coordinate with MoRD, SRLM, CTSA, district administrations, and Sector Skill Councils; represent the organisation at inspections and reviews
- Drive candidate mobilisation, onboarding, and eligibility verification, preventing duplicate or unsupported enrolments
- Oversee training-centre infrastructure, batch quality, trainer performance, and candidate welfare




- Coordinate assessments and certification with authorised agencies
- Build employer relationships, verify placements, and track retention and migration support
- Ensure accurate MIS/portal data entry and complete documentation
- Monitor fund utilisation, tranche claims, UCs, vouchers, and audit compliance
- Lead centre managers, mobilisers, trainers, MIS, placement, and finance teams via KPIs and weekly reviews

Required Qualifications

- Postgraduate degree in Management, Rural Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or related field
- 8+ years in government-funded skill development/livelihood projects; 3+ years direct DDU-GKY project management
- Strong knowledge of DDU-GKY SOP, SRLM processes, and prescribed portals
- Experience with government inspections and financial/process audits
- Willingness to travel extensively across multiple training centres

Preferred: Prior State Head/Project Head experience, multi-state project handling, established placement network, and clean audit/inspection track record.
