In this role, youll serve as a critical bridge between the business stakeholders and the development and engineering teams. Your work will influence how ideas become features, how features become products, and how products deliver meaningful outcomes in a fast paced, evolving environment.

As a key member of the Product team, you will play a hands on role in defining business requirements, crafting user stories, and ensuring that technical execution aligns seamlessly with business objectives. You will lead user acceptance testing (UAT), drive iterative testing cycles, validate enhancements, and ensure that issues or defects are accurately identified, tracked, and resolved. Your keen eye for detail and strong communication skills will help ensure that every release meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Your key responsibilities

- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by testing the defined test cases, validating functionality, and ensuring readiness for release.
- Support in iterative testing cycles, identifying defects, documenting issues, validating fixes, and performing regression testing as needed.
- Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
- Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks,



ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.
- Serve as one of the primary liaison between business teams and engineering, providing clarifications, resolving requirement gaps, and ensuring shared understanding throughout the product lifecycle.
- Review and validate bug fixes, ensuring that resolved issues meet expected outcomes before closure.
- Engage with clients and end users, addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Support product rollout activities, including release planning, communication, and training support where required.
- Monitor product performance post release, identify enhancement opportunities, and contribute to backlog prioritization.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation including requirement specifications, UAT plans, test results, and user feedback logs.
- Support product strategy, roadmap planning, and end-to-end product lifecycle management for Internal Controls and Audit solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders across business, risk, audit, and technology teams to gather requirements and drive product adoption.
- Own MIS, reporting, KPI tracking, and executive dashboards to measure product performance and business outcomes.
- Analyse large datasets to derive insights, identify control gaps, and support decision-making.
- Drive product implementation, rollout, user onboarding, and change management initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define functional requirements and prioritise product backlogs.
- Identify automation and AI opportunities to enhance audit and internal control processes.

Skills and attributes for success

- Risk Assessment – Assessment of internal processes to identify findings, vulnerabilities, and control gaps/deviations identified across applications and infrastructure.
- Control Monitoring / Testing - Understanding of controls around Business processes, ITGC, Cyber, Data protection and privacy to perform testing of design and operational effectiveness of controls.
- Ability to create process documentation.




- Ability to understand business problems in Risk/Finance and contribute to translating them into solution or product requirements.
- Exposure (through projects or roles) to Risk, Finance, Supply Chain Operations (SCO), or related business functions preferred.
- Demonstrates interest in AI/analytics-driven Risk solutions and their business applications.
- Agentic AI architecture- Design agentic AI system architectures and define associated technical guardrails.
- Functional understanding of foundation models (LLMs) and associated risks. Awareness of the AI deployment lifecycle
- Control Automation – Identify automation opportunities using analytics platform to monitor the operational effectiveness on the regular basis.
- Basic exposure to Presales, solutioning, proposal support, or client presentations is a plus.
- Interest in working in tech-enabled or AI-led Risk products/solutions environment.
- Ability to support senior team members in product development, go-to-market efforts, and client engagements.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business delivery teams.

To qualify for the role, you must have

- Overall 3-6 years of experience in Risk Advisory (preferably Internal Controls) experience with Big 4 or comparable professional services environment
- CA or Master’s degree in Business Administration or Risk management
- Good to have certifications – CISA, CISM, CIA, AIGP, ISO 42001, CISSP, CRISC, CCSK, ISO 27001, and others (as relevant)
- Any 1 hard tech skill is a must – Either Python or Databricks Or full stack or AI
- Product Management experience with demonstrated ownership of delivering business solutions.
- Solid stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience in reporting, MIS, analytics, and data-driven decision making.
- Hands-on experience in product implementation and deployment.
- Domain expertise in Internal Controls, Risk, Compliance, or Audit (mandatory).
