Job Description

Solenis GSS India is hiring a dynamic Plant Accountant to join our Plant Accounting & Controlling team in Hyderabad. The incumbent will be responsible for executing end-to-end plant accounting, month-end closing, standard & actual cost analysis, GR&IR; analysis, inventory management, and budgeting activities for assigned manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities:

- Month-End Close: Execute monthly plant closing activities, maintain closing checklists, and prepare/post necessary accrual and corrective journal entries.

- Cost & Variance Analysis: Perform detailed material cost comparisons against previous months, BOM, and recipes. Analyze over/under-applied items and actual costs versus budget/forecast.

- Inventory & General Ledger: Manage General Ledger, inventory accounting, and cost-controlling activities. Handle GRIR, SMOG reporting,



and production volume analysis.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare annual plant fixed cost budgets, establish standard activity rates, and execute distribution/assessment cycles.

- Audit & Compliance: Support financial audits, ensure strict adherence to internal controls, and maintain Solenis EHS standards.

Candidate Profile / Qualifications

- Education: CMA / CA (or CMA/CA Inter with relevant manufacturing plant experience).

- Experience Required: 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant with essential exposure to Material Ledger, plant closing, and reporting processes.

- Mandatory Technical Skills:

- Strong working knowledge of SAP FI/CO module (knowledge of MM, PP, and SD modules is an added advantage).

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and a solid team player.
