This is application engineering as much as selling. A customer tells you they need to boost nitrogen to 400 bar, hydrostatically test a vessel, or handle a corrosive medium at extreme pressure your job is to convert that problem into the right Haskel booster, the right BuTech valve train, or a custom-engineered skid, then price it and win it. You carry two product lines with genuine global pedigree and a workshop behind you that builds what the catalogue does not cover. We are expanding the team, so both hires will own territory and accounts from the outset rather than shadowing.
Preferred candidate profile
B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering mandatory (Instrumentation, Chemical or Production also considered) • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience — freshers will not be considered. Ideal range 2–6 years in technical or application sales of industrial equipment: pumps, compressors,
valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, process equipment or capital machinery • Demonstrable record of carrying an enquiry from technical discussion through to purchase order — we want someone who has closed, not only supported • Sound grasp of pressure, flow and fluid systems — you must hold your own with a plant or R&D; engineer without a script • Able to read P&IDs;, GA drawings and technical datasheets • Strong written English for proposals to government and corporate buyers • Willing to travel across India for customer visits, site surveys and exhibitions • Exposure to PSU / government tendering, imported product lines, or high-pressure equipment is a robust advantage — not a prerequisite
