Jewellery Consultant Cult India

Role Summary

Cult India is looking for a passionate and sales-driven Jewellery Consultant to join our luxury retail store at The Leela Palace, Chennai.

The Jewellery Consultant will be responsible for delivering an exceptional and personalised customer experience, assisting clients with jewellery selection and styling, building long-term relationships, and contributing towards individual and store sales targets. The role requires a strong understanding of premium customer service and the ability to represent the craftsmanship, heritage, and design philosophy of Cult India.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and engage customers, understanding their preferences, requirements, and purchase occasions.
- Provide personalised assistance with jewellery selection, styling, and purchase decisions.
- Develop strong knowledge of Cult India's jewellery collections, craftsmanship, materials, and design stories.
- Deliver a premium and memorable customer experience in line with Cult India's luxury retail standards.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat purchases and referrals.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards overall store performance.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and ensure jewellery displays are consistently presented as per brand guidelines.
- Handle customer enquiries, after-sales service, exchanges, and other requests professionally.
- Stay updated on new collections, jewellery trends, product knowledge, and luxury retail practices.
- Follow all store SOPs relating to security,



inventory handling, billing, customer service, and daily operations.
- Support stock management and ensure careful handling and presentation of high-value merchandise.
- Represent Cult India with professionalism, confidence, and a strong sense of hospitality.

Requirements

- 4 to 7 years of experience in jewellery, luxury, premium, or high-end retail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A sales-driven mindset with a strong focus on customer experience.
- Ability to understand customer preferences and provide personalised recommendations.
- Well-groomed, presentable, confident, and professional personality.
- Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced luxury retail environment.
- Strong relationship-building and clienteling skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and festive periods.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- Prior experience in fine jewellery, gold, diamond, silver, gemstones, or luxury jewellery brands.
- Knowledge of basic jewellery terminology, product specifications, and billing processes.
- Experience working with high-value customers and premium clientele.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel, premium mall, or high-end retail environment will be an advantage.
