Role & responsibilities
- Assemble and build gear cutting machines as per mechanical assembly procedures and specifications.
- Should have solid practical knowledge of assembly of cutting machine technology.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs and technical specifications.
- Perform accurate assembly, fitting, alignment and setting of machine components.
- Handle assembly of machine beds, columns, slides, tables, spindles, gearboxes, shafts, bearings, guideways, ball screws, couplings and drive systems.
- Understand and perform machine alignment, leveling, geometric accuracy and precision setting.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering / Machine Tool Engineering.
- Experience in CNC gear cutting machines or all precision machine tools will be highly preferred.
