Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Surveyor for Transmission Line projects (132 KV / 220 KV, 400 KV) with strong expertise in route survey, alignment, tower spotting, and profile preparation. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Total Station survey work, contouring, ROW survey, and preparation of survey proposals for client approvals. The role requires coordination with project teams and clients to ensure accurate survey execution for smooth project implementation.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct walkover survey and route alignment survey for 132 kV / 220 kV Transmission Line projects.
- Perform detailed survey work using Total Station (TS) for tower locations and route alignment.
- Carry out check survey and contour survey to verify survey data and site conditions.
- Prepare and submit Route Clearance (RC) and Line Estimate (LE) proposals for client approval.
- Perform pit marking for foundation works and prop setting using Total Station.
- Conduct ROW (Right of Way) / Stringing Corridor survey and marking for tree clearance activities.
- Prepare span-wise tree enumeration lists and submit to the client for tree cutting approval.




- Prepare and submit profile drawings and tower schedule for client approval.
- Conduct joint surveys for crossings including Railway, Powerline, Highway, and River crossings and prepare proposals for approval.
- Carry out joint surveys in forest areas and prepare proposals for forest clearance approvals.
- Ensure proper survey documentation, reports, and data submission to clients.
- Maintain accurate survey records and ensure proper use of Total Station equipment.
- Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and client representatives for smooth field execution.
- Ensure proper communication and coordination with the project team and client during survey activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Transmission Line Survey.
- Robust knowledge of Total Station (TS), contour survey, route alignment, and tower spotting.
- Experience in ROW survey, tree enumeration, profile preparation, and crossing proposals.
- Familiarity with Transmission Line project requirements and client approval processes.
- Good coordination, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work in field conditions and remote project sites.
