Mechanical Engineer Role & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and improve mechanical components, equipment, and systems according to project requirements.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Perform basic mechanical calculations, material selection, and design analysis.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
- Identify mechanical problems and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure equipment and designs comply with applicable safety, quality, and engineering standards.
- Support preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement activities where required.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical requirements, inspections, and equipment-related issues.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, reports, drawings, and project documentation.

Preferred Candidate Profile





- Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 0–5 years of relevant experience; freshers with strong technical fundamentals may also be considered.
- Good knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering materials.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or other relevant CAD software is preferred.
- Understanding of machine design, production, maintenance, quality, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Positive analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Willingness to work at manufacturing/project/plant sites as required.
- Candidates with hands-on exposure to production, maintenance, projects, quality, or mechanical design will be preferred.
