Role: Senior Quality Engineer

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API applications using Python, Playwright, and TypeScript/Selenium.

- Create and execute automated test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing scenarios.

- Perform API testing by validating requests, responses, authentication, business logic, and system integrations.

- Conduct database testing, including SQL query validation, data integrity verification, backend data reconciliation, and database-driven test scenarios.

- Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines and support quality gates across the software development lifecycle.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.

- Perform performance and exploratory testing to identify bottlenecks, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement.

- Analyze defects, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous quality improvements across releases.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Python for test automation, framework development, and scripting.





- Proven expertise in Playwright for modern web application automation testing.

- Solid experience with TypeScript and Selenium for UI automation and test development.

- Hands-on experience in API testing, including REST API validation, automation, and integration testing.

- Strong experience in Database Testing, including SQL queries, data validation, backend verification, and data integrity testing.

- Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.

- Good understanding of DevOps practices and software release processes.

- Hands-on experience working with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Good to Have Skills

- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) or AI-powered testing solutions.

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation.

- Proven experience in web, API, and database testing within Agile development environments.
