Job Overview

Prapti Agarbathies LLP is seeking a skilled Machine Technician to oversee mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and electrical troubleshooting across our manufacturing unit. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in gearbox overhauls, welding, VFD programming, and industrial air compressor systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on automatic agarbatti machines and high-speed packaging equipment.
- Disassemble, repair, rebuild, and align machine gearboxes, including replacing worn gears, bearings, shafts, and oil seals.
- Program, parameterize, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) for optimal motor control and line speed.
- Maintain, service, and repair industrial air compressors, pneumatic lines, pressure regulators, and valves.
- Execute machinery modifications and structural repairs using AC welding techniques.




- Perform precision electrical soldering on control panels, sensor wiring, and electronic circuit boards.
- Rapidly diagnose mechanical failures, gearbox wear, pneumatic leaks, and electrical faults to reduce downtime.
- Track replacement inventory for gearbox spares, pneumatic fittings, and electrical components.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Proven experience as a technician in a manufacturing setup (agarbatti or packaging machinery preferred).
- Deep practical knowledge of mechanical gearbox teardown, inspection, and repair.
- Proficiency in AC welding and metal fabrication.
- Solid background in VFD programming, electrical soldering, and circuit diagnostic tools.
- Practical experience managing industrial air compressors and pneumatic controls.
- ITI diploma or trade certification in Mechanical, Fitter, Electrical, or Mechatronics.Role & responsibilities
