Job description for the role of Design Engineer
Role: Responsible for designing & manufacture of custom built hydraulic powerpacks, hydraulic cylinders, manifolds, rotary actuators.
Education: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
Experience/Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD design tools, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Solid foundational knowledge of hydraulic fluid power pack principles, sealing technologies, machining, and welding processes.
Location: Ansa Industrial Estate, Sakinaka, Andheri east
Activities to perform
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings for hydraulic cylinders, manifolds, and powerpacks using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Perform accurate calculations for sizing, pressure, stroke, and flow requirements for hydraulic systems.
- Select appropriate hydraulic components (pumps, valves, seals, manifolds, and motors) based on client and application needs.
- Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), hydraulic schematics, and quality testing procedures.
- Assist shop floor workers during assembly, troubleshooting, and in-house testing/quality assurance protocols.
