Experience

- 2-6 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or vendor management, preferably within Grocery , FMCG, food retail, consumer goods or e-commerce.

Category Expertise

- Strong understanding of Grocery sourcing, supplier ecosystems, processing and manufacturing.

- Experience managing multiple suppliers and negotiating commodity-linked or dynamic pricing.

- Understanding of tea grades, coffee grades, blending, roasting, processing, packaging and quality parameters would be preferred.

Analytical & Commercial Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Ability to analyze commodity prices, supply-demand trends, sourcing costs and vendor performance.

- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

- Ability to identify cost-saving and margin-improvement opportunities.

Stakeholder Management

- Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.

- Ability to work effectively with growers, estates, aggregators, processors,



manufacturers, logistics partners and internal business teams.

- Comfortable working in a rapid-paced environment with frequent changes in commodity prices, supply and demand.

Education

- Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Food Technology or a related discipline.
