Video Editors Job Profile

1. Key Deliverables (Subject to continual review and update)
2. Staying continuously connected with and updated on social media guidelines and rules on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
3. Trimming and connecting footage (both voiceover and video shoot)
4. Cleaning the audio and removing noise of raw footage (ambient noise, voiceover glitches, fumbles, etc.)
5. Enhancing audio volume, increasing sharpness, and adding reverb, whenever required
6. Researching and developing a relevant bank of assets of sound effects, memes, music tracks, video clips for creating the final video
7. Creating images and clips through a mix of AI and video apps
8. Putting together the final video output
9. Visible Personal Attributes (will be examined during initial interactions prior to contracting and shall always continue to be fundamental to the continuance and termination of the contract.)
10. Evidenced commitment to agreed TAT (will be tracked continuously and will have a significant bearing on continuation of contract)

High Proficiency in composing and vetting scripts in English and Hindi (will be tested by the recruiter prior to contracting and only on scoring 8 out of 10 in the Case Study and test/s, will contracting be considered)
20. Sharp skills of analysis, problem-solving and decision-making in completing projects (will be tested by the recruiter prior to contracting and only on scoring 8 out of 10 in the Case Study and test/s, will contracting be considered)
21. Adherence to TAT on projects - (will be tested by the recruiter prior to contracting and only on scoring 8 out of 10 in the test/s, will contracting be considered)
22. Professional Competence in video editing Expert level education and training in video editing with verifiable catalogue of projects of high Quality (will be tested by the recruiter prior to contracting and only on scoring 8 out of 10 in the test/s and evidences presented during pre-contract review, will contracting be considered)
23. Professional Competence in using video editing apps like Expert level certification (will be tested by the recruiter prior to contracting and only on scoring 8 out of 10 in the test/s, will contracting be considered)
24. Skilled Competence in using AI based apps and tools Expert level proficiency in using Google Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Manus and Adobe is a must (will be tested by the recruiter prior to contracting and only on scoring 6 out of 10 in the test/s, will contracting be considered).
25. Relationship: Contractual. Not an employment.
