Branch Manager – Banking & Finance (Sales Department)

We are seeking an accomplished Branch Manager to lead one of our flagship banking branches. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute branch sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
2. Provide visionary leadership, coaching, and performance management for a multidisciplinary branch team.
3. Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring adherence to internal audit standards and regulatory compliance.
4. Manage the branch’s Profit & Loss (P&L;) statement, budgets, and cost controls to maximize profitability.
5. Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients, corporate customers, and community partners.
6. Act as the primary liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulators.
7. Monitor key performance indicators, prepare analytical reports, and present insights to executive leadership.
8. Implement and promote cross-selling of banking and finance products to deepen wallet share and enhance customer satisfaction.
9. Identify market opportunities, competitor activities, and emerging risks to proactively adjust business plans.

Foster a culture of risk awareness, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within the branch.

Requirements:
1. 7–12 years of progressive experience in banking, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or branch management role.
2. Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets in a banking or financial services environment.
3. Thorough knowledge of retail and commercial banking products, services, and market dynamics.
4. Proven expertise in audit, risk, and regulatory compliance frameworks applicable to the banking industry.
5. Solid P&L; management capabilities with demonstrated financial acumen and budgetary control.
6. Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder-management skills, both internally and externally.
7. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
9. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
10. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Nice to Have:
1. MBA or master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
2. Professional certifications such as CAIIB, CFA, or FRM.
3. Exposure to digital banking, fintech collaborations, and technology-driven sales initiatives.
4. Experience in launching new products or services within a branch or regional setting.
5. Established network within the local market and community organizations.
