Franchise Development Executive

About SpinCare
SpinCare is an ISO Certifies growing Laundry & Dry Cleaning brand in Kolkata, currently having 12 stores in Kolkata with a centralized processing model and an expanding network of stores.
As part of our expansion strategy, we are looking for a smart, confident, and highly follow-up-oriented Franchise Development Executive who will manage prospective franchise leads generated through Meta Ads and other marketing channels.
This is primarily an inside sales and lead conversion role. The person will be responsible for connecting with incoming franchise enquiries, understanding the prospect's profile, explaining the SpinCare franchise opportunity, qualifying serious prospects, conducting systematic follow-ups, and scheduling qualified candidates for the final discussion with the Founder.
Role Overview
The Franchise Development Executive will own the franchise lead journey from New Lead First Contact Qualification Follow-up Interested Prospect Meeting Scheduled.
The objective is not simply to call leads. The objective is to identify genuine franchise prospects, build their interest and confidence in the SpinCare opportunity, and move qualified candidates towards a final business discussion with the Founder.
Key Responsibilities
1. Franchise Lead Management
- Manage all franchise leads generated through Meta Ads, WhatsApp, website enquiries, referrals, and other marketing channels.
- Contact new leads quickly after receiving the enquiry.
- Maintain proper records of every lead and interaction.
- Categorize leads based on interest level, investment capability, preferred location, business background, and readiness to start.
- Ensure that no genuine lead is missed due to lack of follow-up.
2. Initial Franchise Discussion
- Conduct the first-level conversation with prospective franchise partners.
- Understand the prospect's background, current occupation/business, investment capability, location preference, and reason for exploring a franchise.
- Explain SpinCare's business concept, centralized processing model, franchise opportunity, investment structure, and partner responsibilities.
- Answer initial questions confidently and professionally.
- Share approved franchise presentations, brochures, ROI projections, videos, and other information with prospects.
- Create sufficient interest for serious prospects to move to the next stage.
3. Lead Qualification
Evaluate whether the prospect is genuinely suitable for a SpinCare franchise based on factors such as:
- Investment capacity
- Preferred location
- Availability of own/rented commercial space where applicable
- Ability to participate in the business as required by the selected model
- Business and professional background
- Understanding of the franchise concept
- Expected timeline for starting the business
- Decision-making authority
- Seriousness and intent
The executive should be able to differentiate between casual enquiries and genuine franchise prospects.
4. Franchise Model Identification
SpinCare has different franchise opportunities suited to different investor profiles.
The Franchise Development Executive should understand the eligibility and commercial structure of each model and identify which opportunity is most appropriate for each prospect.
The executive should guide and qualify, but should not make unauthorized commitments regarding commercial terms, discounts, territories, ROI guarantees, or exceptions.
5. Follow-Up & Lead Nurturing
Follow-up will be one of the most important responsibilities of this position.
- Follow up systematically with interested prospects through calls and WhatsApp.
- Maintain a clear follow-up calendar.
- Reconnect with prospects who did not respond after the first discussion.
- Nurture prospects who are interested but not immediately ready.
- Share relevant information and updates to maintain engagement.
- Identify objections preventing prospects from moving forward.
- Work towards converting warm leads into qualified meetings.
- Ensure every follow-up has a clear next action and date.
No lead should remain unattended simply because the prospect did not respond to the first call.
6. Objection Handling
The executive should be capable of professionally handling common franchise objections related to:
- Investment
- Profitability
- Business risk
- ROI expectations
- Location
- Revenue potential
- Franchise fees
- Operational involvement
- Competition
- Brand awareness
The objective should be to understand the actual concern, provide accurate information, and move the conversation forward without making false promises.
7. Scheduling Final Discussion
Once a prospect is properly qualified and demonstrates serious interest:
- Brief the prospect about the next stage.
- Schedule the final discussion with the Founder / Management.
- Share all important information about the prospect internally before the meeting.
- Confirm the meeting with the prospect.
- Follow up before the scheduled meeting to minimize no-shows.
The Founder should ideally spend time only with properly qualified and serious franchise prospects.
8. CRM & Reporting
Maintain an updated lead database/CRM with:
- Lead Name
- Contact Details
- Lead Source
- Location
- Occupation/Business
- Investment Capacity
- Preferred Franchise Model
- Current Lead Stage
- Last Discussion
- Objections/Concerns
- Next Follow-up Date
- Meeting Status
- Remarks
Submit regular reports covering:
- New Leads Received
- Leads Contacted
- Qualified Leads
- Follow-ups Completed
- Interested Prospects
- Meetings Scheduled
- Meetings Completed
- Lead Conversion %
- Reasons for Lead Drop-Off
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Performance will primarily be measured on:
1. Lead Response Time
2. Percentage of Leads Successfully Contacted
3. Number of Meaningful Franchise Discussions
4. Lead Qualification Rate
5. Follow-up Completion Rate
6. Number of Qualified Meetings Scheduled
7. Meeting Show-Up Rate
8. Qualified Lead-to-Meeting Conversion Rate
9. Final Franchise Conversions from Leads Managed
10. CRM/Data Accuracy
The executive should not be evaluated only on the number of calls made. The focus should be on quality conversations, systematic follow-up, qualified meetings, and franchise conversions.
Candidate Requirements
Education
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Sales or Marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
Experience
- 15 years of experience in Inside Sales, Franchise Sales, Business Development, Real Estate Sales, Education Counselling, Insurance Sales, Financial Product Sales, or other consultative sales roles.
- Previous experience handling digital/Meta-generated leads will be strongly preferred.
- Experience in franchise development will be an added advantage.
