The Integration Engineer works with the services and implementation teams at symplr to support data needs of symplr products. Communicates effectively and adapts to changing requirements and outlines corrective action for supporting the internal team's data needs. Applies a sense of urgency, commitment and focus on the right priorities in developing solutions to achieve goals. Consistently achieves on-time completion of tickets assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop ETL process with MYSQL, Postgres, and SQL Server
- SQL: Intermediate-level proficiency in T-SQL, PL/SQL, or AWS RedShift-SQL for query optimization and script creation.
- Respond to internal/client issues as defined by management
- Maintain high-level day-to-day client/internal requests (advanced global changes, research requests, customer change requests, advanced reports etc.)
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring effective communication and knowledge transfer
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- six years of industry experience with Scripting languages (Python/TypeScripts/JavaScript) and SQL
- Cloud Architecture: Basics of cloud services like AWS (S3, SQS, Lambda).
- Data Formats: Positive understanding of CSV, JSON, XML, and EDI for cross-system data mapping.
- Experience working with relational databases
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Experience working with relational databases
- Experience with team communication tools: Jira/Confluence/MS Teams
- Experience with development infrastructure: GitHub/AWS
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a related technical field
