Responsibilities and Impact

- Produce high-quality ESG data analyses, reports, and models in a timely manner, adhering to established guidelines and quality targets
- Take initiative in identifying and addressing data-related problems or suggesting process improvements within the ESG domain
- Apply detailed analytical skills to interpret complex ESG datasets, ensuring accuracy and identifying potential issues
- Support team objectives by contributing to the development of recent ESG data products or enhancements, leveraging an understanding of broader team goals
- Operate with a strong understanding of S&P; Global's purpose and values, connecting them to daily work and supporting sustainable market practices
- All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week

What Were Looking For

Basic Required Qualifications:





- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, particularly within ESG, financial data, or a related field
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R, and Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to assess urgency in tasks, prioritize effectively, and actively participate in team discussions to achieve common goals
- Resourceful and solution-oriented, with the capacity to generate new ideas and adapt behavior based on different situations and team needs
- External candidates in final interview stage must attend at least one in-person interview at a nearest S&P; Global office before an offer

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with ESG frameworks, reporting standards, and market trends
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and dashboard creation
- Proven ability to look for ways to improve quality and apply skills to situations with defined outputs, contributing to team goals
- A curious mindset, proactively seeking out new information to broaden perspective and generate new ideas for process improvement
