1. Miller / Flour Mill Operator

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and supervise the wheat milling and flour-processing system.
- Monitor wheat cleaning, conditioning, grinding, sifting, and flour separation.
- Maintain optimum milling parameters for consistent product quality.
- Monitor flour extraction, bran separation, wastage, and machine performance.
- Identify abnormal machine conditions and coordinate with maintenance.
- Maintain production and machine-operation records.
- Ensure proper handling of wheat and finished flour products.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and plant safety procedures.

Preferred Profile

- Hands-on experience in wheat/flour milling strongly preferred.
- Practical knowledge of roller mills, plansifters, purifiers, pneumatic conveying systems, and related flour-mill machinery will be an advantage.

2. Sub Miller / Assistant Miller

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Miller in managing day-to-day flour milling operations.
- Monitor different stages of wheat processing and milling.
- Assist in maintaining proper flow of wheat and flour through the milling system.
- Monitor machinery and report abnormalities.
- Support cleaning, milling, sifting, and product handling operations.
- Maintain operational cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assist in achieving daily production and quality targets.

Preferred Profile

- Prior experience in a wheat flour mill, atta/maida plant, or food-processing unit preferred.
- Good practical understanding of milling operations.

3. Fitter Plant Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

- Handle mechanical maintenance of flour mill and processing machinery.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Inspect, repair, install,



and maintain mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and minimise plant downtime.
- Maintain bearings, belts, shafts, rollers, conveyors, elevators, pumps, and other plant equipment.
- Support machine installation, alignment, fabrication, and modification work.
- Maintain maintenance records and coordinate with the Production Manager and Plant Head.

Preferred Profile

- ITI/Diploma in Fitter/Mechanical Trade preferred.
- Experience in flour mills, food-processing plants, manufacturing plants, or similar industrial environments preferred.
- Robust mechanical troubleshooting skills.

6. Lab In-Charge Quality Control Key Responsibilities

- Manage the plant's quality-control laboratory.
- Conduct quality testing of incoming wheat, intermediate products, and finished Atta, Maida, Suji/Rava, and Bran.
- Monitor parameters such as moisture, protein, ash, gluten, falling number, extraction rate, grain quality, impurities, and other relevant specifications, as applicable.
- Maintain laboratory testing records and quality reports.
- Ensure finished products meet internal specifications and applicable food-safety standards.
- Coordinate with production to address quality deviations.
- Monitor raw-material quality and assist in supplier-quality evaluation.
- Maintain calibration and proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable FSSAI and food-safety requirements.

Preferred Profile

B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, or related discipline preferred.

Experience in flour milling, wheat processing, food manufacturing, or FMCG quality control preferred.
