Role & responsibilities

- Implement and monitor the Health, Safety & Setting (HSE) Management System in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and statutory regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure strict compliance with the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for hot work, work at height, confined space entry, excavation, electrical isolation, and lifting operations.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements (MS), and lifting plans for high-risk activities.
- Conduct Safety Induction for newly joined employees, contractors,



and visitors before allowing them to enter the project site.
- Conduct daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) and job-specific safety awareness sessions for workmen and supervisors.
- Monitor work-at-height activities, including scaffolding, ladders, mobile platforms, lifelines, and full-body harness usage.
- Ensure safe execution of erection, fabrication, mechanical, electrical, piping, and structural activities at the power plant site.
- Inspect cranes, lifting tools, tackles, slings, shackles, and other lifting equipment before heavy lifting operations.
