We are looking for a Data Engineer who can work closely with business teams to understand requirements, build reliable data pipelines, and support data integration, transformation, and reporting needs. The ideal candidate should be strong in SQL, comfortable with ETL tools and cloud data platforms, and able to communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Communicate with business users to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
- Connect to multiple data sources using JDBC, APIs, flat files, databases, and other integration methods.
- Manage and monitor data jobs in Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Write, debug, and optimize SQL queries, including during live discussions with business stakeholders.
- Maintain task updates, status tracking, and documentation in JIRA.
- Support data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution across data pipelines.




- Work with visualization/reporting tools and create connections to different data sources.
- Prepare basic documentation, reports, and analysis using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data solutions.

Required Skills

- Solid SQL skills.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development.
- Hands-on knowledge of Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
- Experience connecting data sources through JDBC and other integration methods.
- Familiarity with JIRA for task management.
- Working knowledge of visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Good communication skills and ability to work directly with business users.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, especially Azure.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot production data issues.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
