The Deputy Manager - HIS, Implementation Support, is responsible for the implementation, training, stabilization, and ongoing support of the Hospital Information System (HIS). The role ensures seamless integration of operational and clinical workflows, effective user adoption, user training, system reliability, and continuous optimization in alignment with hospital operational, clinical, and regulatory requirements.

Role Responsibilities

1. Support HIS vendor in end-to-end implementation of HIS solutions, including system configuration, and integration with existing healthcare IT infrastructure.
2. Work closely with HIS vendors to prepare gap list, configure and deploy system modules as per hospital workflows.
3. Coordinate with HIS vendors, department leads, and internal IT stakeholders for configuration and rollout.
4. Collaborate with Department users to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring the HIS meets their specific needs.
5. Conduct thorough testing of HIS configurations to ensure system reliability and accuracy
6. Validate and monitor HIS vendor s implementation plans, timelines, milestones, and dependency tracking.
7. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure successful project delivery
8. Coordinate with vendors for bug fixes, enhancements, and patches
9. Provide post go-live application support to the users.
10. Conduct user training sessions for hospital users to ensure a smooth transition and complete adoption to the HIS
11. Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing inquiries,



and resolving HIS related issues in a timely manner.

Qualification Experience

Education:

1. Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
2. Master s degree in Hospital Administration / Health Informatics / IT is a plus

Experience:

1. 4-5 years of experience in HIS/EMR implementation (preferable in healthcare IT company)
2. Understanding of HIS-ERP integration is an added advantage.

Required Skills

1. Positive understanding of hospital functions at clinical departments: OPD, IPD, Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology and non-clinical departments such as Stock, Finance, HR, Insurance, Digital NABH etc
2. In-depth knowledge of HIS solutions, Tele-medicine, healthcare data standards, and regulatory requirements.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
4. Relevant certifications in healthcare informatics are desirable
