Position: Trust & Safety Trainer
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 5+ years overall experience, with a minimum of 1+ year of experience in a Training/L&D; role
Shift/Week Off: Requires flexibility to adapt to business needs and operational requirements
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Trust & Safety Trainer to drive training and development initiatives for Trust & Safety operations. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of content moderation, risk operations, policy enforcement, and quality standards, along with proven experience in delivering training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver new-hire, refresher, upskilling, and process training for Trust & Safety teams.
- Develop and maintain training materials, presentations, assessments, and knowledge checks.
- Conduct training sessions on Trust & Safety policies, content moderation guidelines, workflows, and quality standards.
- Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, nesting, and certification processes.
- Identify knowledge gaps and provide targeted coaching and feedback.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, and Policy teams to ensure training content remains accurate and aligned with process updates.
- Track and report training effectiveness, performance metrics, and trainee progress.
- Conduct refresher sessions based on quality trends, policy changes, and operational requirements.
- Support calibration sessions and ensure consistent understanding of policies across teams.
- Maintain training documentation, attendance records,
assessment results, and performance reports.
- Handle multiple training batches and adapt training delivery based on learner requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging Trust & Safety trends, policies, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall professional experience, preferably in Trust & Safety, Content Moderation, Risk Operations, or a related domain.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in a Trainer/L&D; role.
- Strong understanding of Trust & Safety and content moderation processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex policies and explain them effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with training metrics, assessments, and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace and presentation tools.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and rotational week-offs.
- Willingness to work from the Hyderabad location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with global Trust & Safety/content moderation programs.
- Experience handling policy/process transitions and change management.
- Exposure to LMS, training dashboards, QA tools, and learning analytics.
- Experience in coaching, nesting, certification, and remediation programs.
