Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven track record in API Sales, Pharma Exports, or API Trading. Direct international customer-facing exposure is highly preferred.
- Education: B.Pharm / M.Pharm or B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry. An MBA in Marketing or International Business is a distinct advantage.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional command of written and spoken English. Proven ability to craft flawless, culturally nuanced business emails and presentations for international clients.Generate high-potential export leads via trade portals, industry databases, LinkedIn, professional network references, and international pharma exhibitions.
- Conduct structured outbound prospecting through highly professional email campaigns, cold calling, and video presentations.

- Serve as the primary account owner for existing international customers and distributors.
- Nurture cross-functional relationships with clients' Procurement, Sourcing, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial heads to secure product expansion and repeat business.

Role OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and technically sound Business Development Executive (BDE) - API Exports to report directly to the Founder / Director. In this critical B2B role, you will drive business growth by identifying new overseas buyers, managing international distribution networks, and anchoring the complete export sales cycle from lead generation to final collection.This is a full time, office-based role in Hyderabad with minimal international travel for trade exhibitions and client meets as required.Key Responsibilities1. International Business Development & Prospecting
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across assigned global regions (such as LATAM, MENA, Southeast Asia, Africa, CIS, Europe, or North America).
- Manage inquiries through the entire pipeline: lead qualification, requirement mapping, commercial quotation, sample dispatch, trial support, and final Purchase Order (PO) closure.
- Liaise closely with internal Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, and manufacturing partners to deliver aligned technical data and materials.
- Maintain a pristine CRM pipeline with structured documentation of follow-up schedules, sample tracking, and revenue forecasting.
4. API & Regulatory Technical Coordination
- Utilise working knowledge of APIs, Drug Master Files (DMF), GMP requirements, and international buyer qualification pathways.
- Coordinate client technical requests seamlessly, ensuring accurate provisioning of COAs, specifications, stability data, regulatory packages, and compliance questionnaires.
