Role Overview

Cognoverse Technologies is seeking a business-focused SAP FI/CO Consultant with approximately 5 years of experience to drive a critical SAP S/4HANA migration project. In this role, you will act as the key liaison between the finance department and the project team, ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to S/4HANA. Your primary objective will be to safeguard business continuity, map financial processes to the new system, and ensure that the migration delivers tangible business value and optimized financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Migration Strategy & Business Continuity: Lead the financial data migration strategy, ensuring zero disruption to daily financial operations, reporting, and compliance during the transition to S/4HANA.
- Process Mapping & Optimization: Partner with core finance stakeholders to evaluate current financial workflows, identify process gaps, and design optimized, future-ready financial processes within the new system.
- Financial Workflow Design: Guide the setup of core financial structuresincluding General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, and Cost Managementto align with corporate financial strategies rather than just technical system requirements.
- Cross-Functional Alignment:



Ensure that financial processes integrate smoothly with broader business operations (such as supply chain, procurement, and sales) to maintain accurate and unified corporate reporting.
- Business Validation & Testing: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) from a business perspective, ensuring the migrated system meets all financial compliance, reporting, and operational standards before go-live.
- Change Management & Adoption: Provide hands-on support and training to the finance team post-migration, driving high user adoption and swiftly resolving any business-critical issues during the hyper-care period.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: Approximately 5 years of qualified experience in SAP FI/CO consulting, with direct involvement in end-to-end system migrations or transitions to S/4HANA.
- Business Acumen: Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards, with a proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable project goals.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to confidently present strategies and updates to business leaders and finance executives.
- Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong capability to anticipate business risks associated with system migrations and proactively design solutions to mitigate them.
