Role & responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot DCS, PLC, SCADA, and automation systems used in plant operations.
- Perform calibration, testing, and maintenance of field instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, level transmitters, analyzers, load cells, and weigh feeders.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
- Monitor and optimize process control loops to ensure secure plant operation.
- Support commissioning, loop checking, and automation projects.
- Diagnose faults in control panels, communication networks, sensors, and actuators.
- Coordinate with Operations, Electrical, and Mechanical teams to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, permit systems, and maintenance procedures.
Preferred candidate profile
- 5-10 years of experience in Instrumentation & Automation within the Cement Industry.
- Hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, field instrumentation, calibration, loop checking, and process automation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Telugu (speaking) is preferred for effective coordination with plant teams and local stakeholders.
- Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Candidates must have prior experience working in a Cement Manufacturing Plant.
