G.S. Marketing Associates (IIMTF), is looking for an energetic and driven Event & Marketing Associate to support the planning, promotion, and execution of large-scale trade fairs and exhibitions across India.

About the Role

As an Event & Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for supporting event operations, managing logistics, maintaining customer and vendor data, and promoting upcoming exhibitions across different cities in India.

This is a hands-on role that involves significant travel, interaction with customers and vendors, and working on-site during exhibitions. The ideal candidate should be organized, adaptable, comfortable with technology, and enthusiastic about events and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Event Operations

- Coordinate and support event logistics and on-ground operations.
- Assist with crowd management, gift distribution, and other event activities.
- Support international customers and exhibitors with payments and related requirements.
- Ensure smooth execution of events and promptly address operational issues.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders during exhibitions.

Data & Administration

- Maintain accurate customer, exhibitor, and vendor records.
- Update databases and ensure information is recorded accurately and on time.
- Identify and report software or technical issues to the relevant teams.
- Prepare and maintain reports using MS Excel and other office tools.

Marketing & Promotion





- Promote upcoming exhibitions and trade fairs across different cities in India.
- Distribute marketing materials and engage with prospective customers and exhibitors.
- Travel extensively to support marketing campaigns and event promotions.
- Build positive relationships with customers, business representatives, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

- 1-3 years of experience in events, marketing, operations, customer engagement, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Comfortable interacting with customers, vendors, and international clients.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and event requirements.
- A proactive, energetic, and customer-focused approach.

Travel Requirements

- Travel across India for approximately 15-20 days per month, particularly during exhibitions and promotional activities.
- Travel, accommodation, and eligible event-related expenses will be covered by the company.
