Role & responsibilities

- Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and site safety plans.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements for various activities.
- Ensure compliance with the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities.
- Conduct Safety Induction, Toolbox Talks, Pre-Job Safety Meetings, and safety awareness training.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as work at height, lifting and rigging, hot work, confined space, excavation, electrical work, and material handling.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and verify that safety equipment is available, suitable,



and in serviceable condition.
- Inspect scaffolding, ladders, lifting tools and tackles, fire-fighting equipment, electrical equipment, and other safety appliances.
- Monitor housekeeping, material storage, access/egress, barricading, signage, and workplace conditions.
- Ensure protected execution of construction, fabrication, erection, maintenance, and industrial activities.
- Monitor contractor and subcontractor activities and ensure compliance with client and statutory safety requirements.
