We are seeking an experienced HR Manager with 15+ years of progressive HR experience to lead all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, compliance, training, Industrial relations and organizational development. The ideal candidate will be a strategic HR leader with strong people management skills and a proven ability to drive employee engagement and business growth.

Job Summary :

The Head Human Resources will be responsible for managing the entire HR function of the manufacturing plant, including industrial relations, employee engagement, statutory compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, payroll coordination, and policy implementation. The role requires extensive experience in handling labour-related matters, wage negotiations, union management, and maintaining harmonious industrial relations.

Responsibilities :

• Managing industrial relations (IR), labour unions, collective bargaining, wage negotiations, and long-term settlements.

* Handling end-to-end contract labour management, including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, deployment, statutory compliance, and contractor performance management.





* Overseeing recruitment and selection activities for permanent employees, contract workers, and leadership positions.

* Developing and implementing training and development programmes to enhance employee skills, productivity, and leadership capabilities.

* Driving the performance management system (PMS), succession planning, and talent development initiatives.

* Ensuring compliance with labour laws, factory regulations, PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, and other statutory requirements.

* Managing disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.

* Supervising payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration, salary restructuring, and annual appraisal activities.

* Promoting employee engagement initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture.

* Coordinating with labour authorities, government departments, factory inspectors, and external agencies.

* Maintaining statutory records, licenses, registers, and legal documentation.

* Developing and implementing HR policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and organizational guidelines.

* Managing attendance, leave administration, workforce productivity, and overall HR operations.

* Driving organizational development initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications :

* MBA in Human Resources, MSW, or an equivalent qualification.

* Additional qualifications in labour laws or industrial relations will be preferred.

Experience :

* 15 to 20 years of experience in manufacturing industries.

* Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in industrial relations and union management.

* Proven experience in Union Handling and collective bargaining.
