We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer with solid expertise in IBM Mainframe technologies to design, develop, maintain, and support mission-critical applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in COBOL programming, JCL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, and mainframe application support within large-scale enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, test, and implement mainframe applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2 programs.
- Perform impact analysis and provide estimates for development activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Optimize application performance and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Participate in release management, deployment, and production support activities.
- Prepare technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
