Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilledApplication Support Engineer (L2) with strong experience in Java-based enterprise applications and production support environments. The role involves providing end-to-end application support, incident resolution, release management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous service improvement for business-critical applications. The ideal candidate should possess a blend of development knowledge and support expertise to ensure application stability, performance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 production support for web-based applications and services.
- Resolve incidents, fulfil service requests, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Perform proactive application monitoring, health checks, and operational support activities.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across multiple technology layers.
- Support production deployments, release validations, and post-release monitoring.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring incidents.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams for issue resolution.
- Analyse application logs,



database queries, and monitoring dashboards to diagnose problems.
- Support problem management, change management, and release management processes.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and support runbooks.
- Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities as required.
- Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement of support processes.
