- Role Overview
- We are looking for an experienced JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Sales & Distribution (S&D;) and hands-on experience in functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- The consultant will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring and supporting JDE S&D; processes, preparing functional specifications and test scenarios, executing end-to-end testing, coordinating with technical teams, and supporting implementation, upgrade, and production-support activities.
- Key Responsibilities
- JDE Sales & Distribution
- Strong hands-on experience in JDE EnterpriseOne Sales Order Management (SOM) and Distribution processes.
- Good knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
- Configure and support:
- Sales Order Management
- Customer/Item setup
- Branch/Plant and processing options
- Order types and line types
- Advanced Pricing
- Availability/ATP
- Pick, Pack and Ship processes
- Shipment Confirmation
- Sales Invoicing
- Returns/Credit Orders

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into JDE functional solutions.
- Perform AS-IS, TO-BE and GAP analysis and recommend appropriate solutions/workarounds.
- Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements and customizations.
- Support integration between JDE S&D; and Finance, Inventory, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Transportation, CRM/CPQ and third-party systems.
- Testing & QA Responsibilities
- Prepare test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts for JDE S&D; processes.
- Perform and coordinate:

- Unit Testing
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- Regression Testing
- End-to-End Testing




- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- CRP testing
- Interface/Integration Testing
- Validate JDE configurations, processing options, versions, customizations and interfaces.
- Create test data and execute business scenarios covering the complete Order-to-Cash cycle.
- Validate data flow between JDE and external applications.
- Identify, document, prioritize and track defects through resolution.
- Perform defect analysis, reproduce issues and coordinate with developers/CNC/technical teams for fixes.
- Execute regression testing after enhancements, patches, upgrades and configuration changes.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect reports and testing status reports.
- Support business users during UAT and obtain test sign-offs.
- Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain traceability between requirements and test cases.
- Implementation & Support
- Participate in JDE implementation, upgrade, rollout and enhancement projects.
- Support requirements gathering workshops with business stakeholders.
- Assist with data migration and data validation activities.
- Support cutover, Go-Live and post-Go-Live stabilization.
- Analyze and resolve production issues related to Sales & Distribution.
- Provide functional support and troubleshooting within agreed SLA timelines.
- Prepare user manuals, functional documentation and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Conduct end-user and super-user training.
- Work closely with onsite/offshore teams, developers, CNC, DBA and other functional teams.
- Required Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, preferably 9.2.

- Working knowledge of JDE tables and data structures.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Exposure to JDE UBE, FDA/RDA, UDOs, E1 Pages and Orchestrator is an advantage.
- Experience with data migration and validation is preferred.
- Experience working with technical/CNC teams for troubleshooting and customizations.
- Preferred Experience
- At least one full-cycle JDE implementation, rollout or upgrade.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, retail or supply-chain environments.
- Experience with EDI and third-party integrations.
- Exposure to Warehouse Management and Transportation Management.
- Experience working in onsite/offshore or global delivery models.
- Oracle JDE certification is an advantage.
