Value Spectrum Technologies is looking for an experienced Lead Golang Developer to drive the design and development of scalable backend applications while leading a team of engineers. This role requires a strong technical leader who can mentor developers, drive architectural decisions, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend applications using Go (Golang).
- Design and build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of backend developers, ensuring high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Frontend Developers, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
- Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize application performance.
- Design scalable database solutions using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Drive technical discussions, architectural decisions,
and development planning.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, coding standards, and CI/CD processes.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical roadmap discussions.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Go (Golang) development.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams.
- Strong expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Solid understanding of Go concurrency (goroutines and channels).
- Robust experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
