Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Assistant General Manager – Sales to lead the sales operations of RAAM MG Motors, Kondapur. The role will be responsible for achieving dealership sales targets, managing the sales team, improving conversion and customer experience, and driving overall business growth.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, sales management, customer relationship, and automobile dealership experience.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Drive overall sales performance and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual dealership targets.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the Relationship Manager and sales team.
- Monitor individual and team performance, conversion ratios, lead management, and funnel movement.
- Ensure effective utilization and follow-up of leads across walk-ins, digital leads, referrals, events, and other sources.
- Develop strategies to improve enquiry-to-booking and booking-to-retail conversions.
- Ensure strong customer engagement and maintain high standards of customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Conduct regular sales reviews and performance meetings with the team.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, schemes, and customer preferences.
- Drive field sales activities, corporate sales, roadshows, events,



and local marketing initiatives.
- Ensure proper implementation of OEM and dealership sales processes and guidelines.
- Coordinate with CRM, MIS, Accounts, Stockyard, and Delivery teams for smooth vehicle deliveries.
- Monitor booking, invoicing, finance, insurance, accessories, and other value-added services.
- Handle key customers and support the team in negotiations and critical closures.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance and business KPIs.
- Identify performance gaps and take corrective actions to improve team productivity.
- Maintain strong relationships with OEM representatives and other business stakeholders.
- Uphold the brand image, dealership standards, and professional conduct at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- 6–10 years of experience in automobile sales, preferably in a dealership environment.
- Prior experience in managing a sales team is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of automobile retail sales processes and dealership operations.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused approach with solid relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage target-driven teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office and dealership CRM/DMS systems.
- Possession of a valid four-wheeler driving license.
