Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with Power Systems domain expertise to support grid operations, energy markets, and system automation initiatives. The role involves requirements gathering, data analysis, scenario modeling, and close collaboration between business and IT teams to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to grid operations, energy markets, and power system automation
- Analyze performance data including power generation, demand patterns, market prices, and system KPIs
- Develop scenario models and forecasts to support operational planning and decision-making
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance requirements in power systems and energy markets
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders (operations, trading, planning) and IT/engineering teams
- Drive process improvements to optimize workflows and reduce operational risks
- Support system reliability initiatives by analyzing outage data, bottlenecks,



and system behavior
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through data-driven insights
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations using Power BI, Tableau, and Excel
- Perform SQL-based data analysis and querying to support business insights
- Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders through structured reporting and documentation

Must-Have Skills

- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Power Systems / Energy domain
- Expertise in requirements gathering and documentation
- Hands-on experience in data analysis (generation, demand, market performance)
- Scenario modeling and forecasting skills
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks in power systems
- Excellent stakeholder management and businessIT coordination
- Experience in process improvement and workflow optimization
- Knowledge of system reliability analysis
- Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and Advanced Excel
- Robust SQL querying and data analysis skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
