With several decades of experience and significant recent growth, MGT has established a dedicated AI Operating Group (AI OG) focused on designing, building, and deploying AI-powered solutions across the firm and for its clients.

The India team is a fully integrated part of MGT's global delivery organization, working closely with US-based consultants, architects, product leaders, AI engineers, and other cross-functional teams. This role offers an opportunity to work on impactful AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Advanced Analytics, and modern Data Engineering initiatives supporting public sector, education, and other regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable data architectures for AI, Machine Learning, analytics, and Generative AI workloads.
- Lead architecture decisions and establish best practices for data engineering, governance, security, and platform design.
- Design, build, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Develop and manage Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Feature Stores, and large-scale distributed data platforms.
- Build scalable data pipelines to support AI/ML model training, inference, analytics, and production workloads.
- Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, observability, reliability, and security across the data ecosystem.
- Collaborate with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to define and implement data requirements.
- Implement cloud-native data platforms using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Work with technologies such as Apache Spark, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, Databricks, Kafka, and Terraform.
- Support the development of Vector Databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)



pipelines for Generative AI applications.
- Design data models, metadata standards, technical documentation, and architecture frameworks.
- Implement secure and compliant data solutions, particularly for regulated environments.
- Evaluate emerging data and AI technologies and recommend improvements to existing platforms.

Required Skills & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related areas.
- Strong experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and data platforms for AI/ML use cases.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with modern data technologies, including:

- Apache Spark / PySpark
- Apache Airflow
- Databricks
- Snowflake
- dbt
- Apache Kafka
- Terraform

- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Distributed Processing, and large-scale data systems.
- Experience with Data Modeling, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Security, and Data Lineage.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native data architectures and modern data engineering frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed, and U.S.-aligned environment.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience building and working with Vector Databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
- Hands-on experience developing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines.
- Experience supporting AI/ML or Generative AI applications.
- Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture and Real-Time Data Streaming platforms.
- Experience supporting public sector, government, education, finance, or other highly regulated industries.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, and Data Privacy regulations.
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, or related technologies.
